  2. A first book review was published in the Journal of Perception on our book "How the Mind Comes Into Being: Introducing Cognitive Science from a Functional and Computational Perspective", written by Heath E. Matheson.
  3. Lab director Martin Butz received the Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship from the Humboldt Foundation - and is thus from now on part of the international Humboldt Network.

Fachtagung der GK wird vom 29. September bis 2. Oktober 2014 in Tübingen stattfinden. The biannual conference of the German Cognitive Science Society (GK) will take place from 29th until 2nd october 2014 at  Tübingen, one of Europe’s oldest university cities. Martin Butz, full professor of the department Cognitive Modeling at the University of Tübingen, was elected to host the meeting.

The chair of Cognitive Modeling got a new colleague. We are glad to welcome Dr. Anna Belardinelli in Tübingen (previously University of Bielefeld).

• Parental leave

Our colleague Dr. Jan Kneissler will be away from Cognitive Modeling for 4 months. Undoubtedly he'll have a good time with his familiy! Even now we are delighted to welcome him back in june 2012.
